Scuff miss-cue area on the tip
Softly press the cue tip on the Kamui Gator Grip and roll your shaft gently
The fiber of leather is totally restored by scuffing the surface of the tip
The scuffed fiber can now hold the particles of chalk so that miss-cueing is prevented

Slight wobble at the joint, but for a $22 shaft? Likely best you can expect. My birthday is coming up and i might surprise my wife by getting s new cue from her. She loves surprises.

As someone who plays on bar boxes often, I hate the heavy beat up cue balls you usually see. This cue ball is well worth the purchase for anyone serious about learning to play with better control.
